Never Too Late To Start Fixing Things

Welcome to my first post. I’m not officially an environmentalist but was slowly became one as time passed, especially working over a decade as a digital marketer for the luxury hotel industry in a booming city in the Middle East (I still am). This city has been featured many times in various media, documentaries, movies, magazines and is the owns some of today’s adjectives; tallest, biggest, brightest, largest. These are great things for a city to achieve in less than 2 decades, but this country also has one of the largest carbon footprint in the world. Living daily in this city got me interested in the topic of reducing waste and living more with less. Don’t get me wrong, some of these luxuries are awesome, such as have toilet paper in every public restroom (it is a biggy for Asian folks), convenience of bottled water purchasable anywhere or even get it sent to you, having air-condition EVERYWHERE, fully stocked Starbucks so you never run out of stirrers, etc.

It is my hope that I can be part of, if not share and influence things that we can do to reduce waste, live a greener life and live more with less while making all these efforts economically and environmentally sustainable.
